As Muslim faithful all over Nigeria are eagerly waiting for the official date of Sallah, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar yesterday urged the Muslim faithful in to look for the new Moon of Shawwal , 1434 AH today.
The directive was contained in a statement signed by Prof. Sambo Wali, the chairman, Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs, Sokoto Sultanate Council, issued in Sokoto, which noted that Wednesday was equivalent to the 29th day of Ramadan.
